Kópavogskirkja
Architects Hörður Bjarnason & Ragnar Emilsson
Kópavogur’s modernist church is probably the most recognisable religious building in the entire district.
Its greek cross blueprint give heights to four massive white parabolic arches. Thus creating an architectural landmark to Iceland’s capital and its surroundings. The church’s privileged location overlooking the ocean, create a perfect simbiose between Devine and real world.
